Consular Processing
Once an immigrant petition is approved the same is forwarded to National Visa Center for processing. All immigrant visa cases are processed at the National Visa Center (NVC) including payment of immigrant visa fee, affidavit of support fee, submission of affidavit of support and supporting documents, submission of original documents including police clearance certificates from appropriate authorities, and finally NVC schedules the interview also at the Consulate. The applicant/s for immigrant visas only need to obtain the medical and vaccination report from the approved medical facility and need to remit the courier fee at the VFS offices to return the passports and visa packet and then appear for the interview with all original passports and any additional documents to prove the relationship between the petitioner and applicant beneficiary as per instructions on the web site of the consulate. The applications for non immigrant visas are filed online using Department of State online filing system by filling out DS–160 and then scheduling the appointment for interview at the VFS web site. We assist the clients in preparing and submission of documents at NVC and also prepare the applicants for interview. We do not submit the applications online for non immigrant visas since the applicants have to verify the contents and submit the same under the Department of State rules. We will not be able to appear for the clients at the US consulates, but we will prepare and provide the applicants with the most effective paper work for obtaining both Immigrant and non immigrant visas from any US consulates. We also provide representation and counseling in other general immigration matters on the telephone, or by e-mail to the applicants. Our law firm is able to represent clients on U.S. immigration matters who are located anywhere within or outside the United States. This is possible due to the advanced technology of the Internet, and also the fact that Immigration law is purely federal and global in nature. If you would like to engage the services of our office, please contact us stating your desire to be represented and including a brief overview of your current status or situation. We will contact you within 24 hours of the receipt of your request.
